Antonio Brown is an American Football wide receiver for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the NFL. Born in 1988, he was raised in Liberty city, Miami with the love for the game. He started his career early on and played football for the college team at Central Michigan University where he proved himself as a promising athlete. Brown has played for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Oakland Raiders and New England Patriots. He is currently signed with the Buccaneers, playing side by side with Tom Brady and winning Super Bowl LV over the Kansas city chiefs. It has been an honor for us to work with him on an exclusive concept.

THE ANTONIO BROWN CONCEPT
It was quite naturally that Antonio Brown chose to customize his Rolex Submariner “HULK” 116610LV. He told the Skeleton Concept’s team that he has always loved this model but felt it lacked quite a bit of the strength and stamina that a timepiece named “Hulk” should hold. Therefore, he expressed his wish to rediscover this model in a new and singular way. His main directives for this concept were to surlign the strength and the virility of the Submariner, all the while obtaining a slender cut and elegant result that would allow him to wear his timepiece day and night.
Our team of master watchmakers took this challenge and decided that Skeleton Concept would try to do justice to the original “HULK” theme and surprise Brown by accentuating the expressiveness of the movement and the general appearance of the watch in order to make this timepiece more intense, lively and vigorous. In such a way that it would also match with the physique of Antonio Brown, the muscular and fit NFL player. Through the meticulous work of our master watchmakers, the Submariner “Hulk” underwent a long process of customization that spanned almost a year.

AN INCREDIBLE FUSION OF MATERIALS AND COLORS
First, a two-tone anthracite steel rhodium plating was done on the 3135 caliber skeletonized movement. In order to accentuate the volume of the timepiece, the master watchmakers kept the original bezel but then played with contrasts by highlighting the lines of the movement, the strapping, the indexes and the oscillating weight in a bright orange as well as with thin white lines to add even more character to the concept. The contrast obtained thanks to the skeletonization and the choice of colors (Green VS Orange) gives the concept “stamina”, a sculpted and much more ribbed look to the piece.
A RADIANT AND SUNRAY BRUSHED MOVEMENT
The “sunny” effect (soleillage) of the skeletonized movement reflects the light and adds finesse and refinement to this graphically elaborated concept. A 45° hand-made bevelling sandblasts the lugs and the (central) buckle of the timepiece, as well as satin-finish the sides of the watch and its strap in order to mattify the appearance of the timepiece to add finesse and elegance to this concept of haute horlogerie.

A TIMEPIECE VIBRANT IN THE DAY, ELECTRIFYING IN THE NIGHT
Just like the previous model of the brand (the Matuidi Concept), we have opted for the addition of luminescent intra-ceramic engravings on the glass of the dial. The timepiece unveils new incredible facets at nightfall.
The watch is signed “A.B 81” – for the initials of the NFL player and his jersey number. Likewise, we have underlined the numbers 7 and 10, embossed on the dial, which correspond to Brown’s date of birth (July 10, 1988).
