A tribute to Morocco and French Montana’s origins.
Needless to say that the famous rapper has a deep sense of aesthetics. He knew exactly what materials he wanted and how he wanted his timepiece to look. Thus, the process of creating the design of the Skeletonized Daytona has been smooth and efficient.
For his named concept, our watchmakers have designed a full black sandblasted skeletonized movement. The color palette chosen was an emerald green and a bright red, to directly evoke the colors of the flag of Morocco. We have added a Sapphire dial, with circled subdials both in anthracite gray and in red. We have also replaced the original hands of the timepiece for custom-made red ones, to coherently match the rest of the movement.

A GREEN 3D TRANSLUCENT BEZEL
The true star of the Montana Concept is the personalized green bezel. Made of synthetic crystalline polycarbonate, it is of an emerald green and translucent – offering a full transparency. It adds a 3D effect and depth to the overall movement, as the red tachymeter scale is reflected on the case. This bezel material is world first for Skeleton Concept, as it required 5 months of minutious work to master the technical challenge of creating this unique thin bezel without hindering the water resistance of the timepiece.

ARABIC NUMERAL DIGITS ON THE HOUR SUBDIAL
Proud of his achievements and rich of his life story, French Montana’s music is often influenced by his multi-cultural background. He wanted his unique timepiece to be the echo of this. As a personal attention to the rapper’s native country, we suggested him to add Arabic numeral digits on the 12-hour subdial replacing the original Roman numerals, which he immediately
The timepiece is available in Oyster steel with an anthracite PVD surface treatment. The steel bracelet has been satin-brushed except for the sides – which have been polished. The game of contrasts, the marriage of the colors and material offer a beautifully elaborate and extremely refined timepiece.
